As every year, Apple offers downloads a new major version of its iTunes music player. This time, the changes have been abundant and affect all the social functions of the program.
For starters, iTunes has undergone some aesthetic touches. The program icon has been redesigned, as well as indicative of the sections and the organization of the album, giving a more minimalist program. Has also improved the organization of tabbed sections.
But the main novelty of iTunes 10 is not aesthetic, but social. To be aware of what they hear, buy and share your friends and favorite artists, Apple has created the Ping network, which you can access your iTunes Store account. With Ping, you can receive recommendations based on your taste in music, news updates with groups in your music library, and a myriad of options that are yet to come.
Of course, the new approach of iTunes does not invalidate the many features of this player: library management is so complete (and demanding) as always, shopping at the store of songs and applications is still an important part, and listening other libraries in the network, Genius playlists and syncing with Apple devices remain intact. It is possible, moreover, so many and such diverse functions to the program distracted from its core function: listening to music.
In short, iTunes again with renewed energy and better adapted to current times, making the program an entire musical and social center in your computer. |
