Meet new people in your own 3D world.
More than a highly original communication system in real time, IMVU seems a curious cross between an instant messaging client (such as MSN Messenger) and a video game (as might be The Sims).
IMVU is a 3D chat program certainly gives us a unique and innovative way to meet people from around the world and keep in touch with your friends, through characters (called avatars) that you can customize every detail.
IMVU talks taking place in various environments completely designed in 3D, and discussions are viewed through the typical own text bubbles comics. In addition, right-click your character will give way to a menu of different actions such as laughter, dances, gestures, interaction with other characters, etc..
Besides being able to chat with your friends, IMVU has a credit system whereby you can go buy ornaments, clothing and other accessories for your character. In short, IMVU is an instant messaging client other than, perhaps short on advanced features, but definitely perfect for a fun time. |
