GeoGebra is an interactive program specially designed for teaching and learning of algebra and geometry to middle school level (secondary).
On the one hand, GeoGebra is a dynamic geometry system. Construction allows both points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections as functions that can be changed dynamically post.
On the other hand, equations and coordinates can be entered directly. Thus, GeoGebra has the power to deal with variables related to numbers, vectors and points, allows us to find derivatives and integrals of functions and offers commands such a repertoire of mathematical analysis to identify single points of a function, such as roots or ends.
These two perspectives characterize GeoGebra: an expression in the algebra window corresponds to an object in the geometry window and vice versa. |
