Panda Antivirus Cloud uses a different philosophy of protection. Its ability to detect and eliminate viruses, Trojans, spyware and other hazards is based on a network server that facilitates the collection of samples and the deployment of signatures. The result is a very light antivirus and fast as lightning.
After installation, the first thing you'll notice the Panda Antivirus Cloud is the simplicity of its interface. The main pane displays an icon that sums up the security situation. Three large buttons give access to on-demand scans, to report events and the few available options. If you click the small icon on the bottom right corner, Panda Antivirus Cloud will show you the settings.
A peculiarity of Panda Antivirus Cloud is that it requires updates: every time you analyze a file, connects to the server of Panda on the fly to check if it matches the available signatures. The advantage of this model is that Panda Antivirus Cloud can detect new threats and send malware samples in very short time.
Since version 1.1, the memory consumption of Panda Antivirus Cloud is the best in its class, less than 30 megabytes for the analysis. If something can be traced to Panda Antivirus Cloud is the excessive simplicity of its appearance and provides little information, which, on the other hand, many users may like.
