uTorrent is a lightweight and powerful BitTorrent client. With it, you can download all the files you want. It takes up little disk space and loads in seconds.
Compared to other programs heavier uTorrent is very pleasant to use. Minimized in the taskbar, just in the way. P2P is the program to beat.
A full-featured BitTorrent client
The lightness of uTorrent, however, implies a lack of functions. It has all you would expect from a full torrent client:

- Automatic switch off

And, last but not least, can synchronize with uTorrent uTorrent Remote, a web application which allows you to control uTorrent remotely and manage your downloads from any computer.

But uTorrent goes further, offering streaming content playback and a repository of free applications that function as channels of content.
uTorrent also allows integrating antivirus, geolocation applications, video channels and even the ability to tweet from the program.
our opinion
uTorrent is undoubtedly one of the best clients for torrent downloads. It is true that they miss features like an integrated player or music similar to Vuze torrents. But if we consider the fundamental goals of a P2P client, uTorrent approved with honors. |
