mIRC is an IRC Client for Windows most popular. He was one of the first birth and, over the years, has gained new features. However, the basic functions remain the same, the IRC protocol, in fact, has hardly changed.
Once you've installed and run mIRC, enter your details in the configuration screen and connects to one of the many existing servers. In Spanish, is best IRC-Hispano. Write / server-hispano.org irc.irc in the Status window (you'll see that in the service messages) and hit Enter to connect.
